  • I bought this item specifically for power outages because I live in Florida and they occur often during hurricane season. It is entirely likely we will lose power for 7-10 days depending on the severity of the storm. I have a back up generator for essentials like fridge and freezer, but I dont want to be gasoline dependent for the most essential thing my family needs,..water. So, I shopped with the competitors and they want $2000+ for a product that meets my same goal. I installed this pump in an hour and paid a well company to assist just to be sure it was installed correctly. I could have installed it by myself, but I needed it to be right the first time and I wanted the install to be under warranty The guy from the well company was so impressed with the operation and ease of install that he has started recommended this unit to his other customers. Im very happy with my purchase; it meets my needs on my budget. And it was quite reassuring that I made a solid investment when my well guy was impressed and asked for the info so he can start suggesting this product as a more affordable option to his customers over other products and competitors.
