6 Inch Well Seal For Flojak Rigid™

 The 6-inch well seal is designed for a more permanent installation of your Flojak Rigid™ Hand Well Pump in a 6-inch casing. During assembly, the upper section of your Flojak Rigid™ is inserted through the well seal. When fully inserted and secured with the included stainless steel screws, the pump will be permanently held in place. Keep in mind that the hole for your pump is in the center of the well cap replacement when considering clearances in your casing.

Once installed, the sanitary well cap will fit into your casing until the round top-plate sits on top. After tightening, the seal will grip the Flojak Rigid™ upper section while also gripping the inside of your well casing.

How Do They Work?

Well seals are constructed with three layers: the top and bottom layers are thick round plates that compress the hard rubber middle layer when the four large bolts are tightened. When squeezed, the rubber section expands tightly against the inside of the casing while also gripping the upper housing of your Flojak Rigid™. The extra hole can be plugged or used for venting to reduce vacuum as water is being pumped out of your well.

The 6-inch model has a fit range of 5.875" to 6.25" to accommodate a variety of well-casing inside diameters. Color may vary.
